| Auberge La Dauphine guest house, apart from being great value for money accommodation in Franschhoek, is home to a number of rescue animals. Our 5 rescue chickens provide free range eggs for our wonderful breakfasts. Our 4 resident dogs are all rescue animals with sad stories who have now found heaven on earth. One of the donkeys we foster for the McGregor Donkey Sanctuary (Muriel) produced a lovely filly foal last night - Alice-Anne. She is so sweet - very curious and brave - and Muriel is the best mum ever. |

Our new self-catering cottages are now complete. They are called Toffee and Appels - named after our foster donkeys in the paddock next to the cottages. Set in the vineyard, they each offer a double bedroom with bath and shower en-suite, a twin room with bath and shower en-suite, a lounge and kitchen, DSTV, braai and wonderful views |
